                                                                   Questions

The Art in Ancient Egypt was very unique. What they did was they painted the walls of tombs or temples. They painted the tombs and temples so that they can worship their god. They also used art to create the Pyraimd. Another thing they did was that they created sculptors and carved large statues of the Pharaohs. These are some of the things that Ancient Egypts created using art.The Egyptians art was usually two dimensional.

 Funerary Scene

The type of material that the Egyptains used was that they, used stone to carve statues. They also  used wood as a cheap and easily carved substitute. Paints were obtained from minerals such as iron ores there are all different color ones, copper ores soot or charcoal, and limestone. Paints could be mixed with gum arabic as a binder and pressed into cakes, which could be moistened with water when needed.Pharaohs used reliefs to record victories in battle, royal decrees, and religious scenes. Common citizens had access to pieces of funerary art, such as shabti statues and books of the dead, which they believed would protect them in the afterlife. These are some of the materials that the Ancient Egyptians used.

Artisans created art because they made metal products, pottery, and cloth. They covered the walls of tombs and temples with colors to show deites and daily life. Sculptors used art to show pharoahs as ordinary people. The person how created art was Aldokken. Aldokken created art so it would be easier to built houses make the pyraimd. Since he created art it has been easier so trade and make more money.

Everyone knows that Egypt is the land of the pyramids, those mountains of stone which stand like weathered landmarks on the distant horizon of history. However remote and mysterious they seem, they tell us much of their own story. They tell us of a land which was so thoroughly organized that it was possible to pile up these gigantic mounds in the lifetime of a single king, and they tell us of kings who were so rich and powerful that they could force thousands and thousands of workers or slaves to toil for them year in, year out, to quarry the stones, to drag them to the building site, and to shift them with the most primitive means until the tomb was ready to receive the king.

Egyptian art is similar to todays art because they used weapons and tools to carve stones. The stones that they used were limestone, and iron ores. They also used a lot of colors to make there art stand out. They also made all of their tools and weapons, the people who made them are called artisans. They believed that painting animals would bring them good luck when they hunt. They also have many differences one of them are that the egyptians show pharaohs in there art. they also used art  to build the pyramid. Some of the things that we use today are that we use art to design things make stuff with machines and by hand. These are so differences and similares with the egyptiand and with the people today.

In your research, have you discovered why the Egyptians' art work was generally two dimensional?
(Some words are spelled incorrectly and so it might be an idea to check what you have written.)

alyssaa s. i found the answer to third queestion- artisans created art because they made metal products, pottery, and cloth. They covered the walls of tombs and temples with colors to show deites and daily life. Sculptors used art to show pharoahs as ordinary peopleee.
I got it from the s.s text.
